Create your own seed balls filled with native flowers & plant a little pot of sunflower seeds to take home with you. Art resources will be available to record, create & document using images, samples & books to provide inspiration & opportunity to further investigate & discover.

This session has the intention intertwined of Permaculture, with a focus on plants. Introducing the children to the principle ‘Observe & Interact’ by taking time to slow down, notice details, changes & growth. This principle will be able to extend into your home zone, watching them grow into big sunflowers & native blossoms in your own garden at home.

We will also have our tool kit available for the children to access as they need. The children will have opportunity to not only master the skill of each tool but additionally develop patience, perseverance, resilience, & strong fine motor strength, dexterity and manipulation.
