Raw&UnearthedUNBOUND.

We are very excited to re-launch our Raw&Unearthed-UNBOUND Sessions for homeschoolers with a fresh new look! We are now offering weekly sessions on Tuesdays from 12:30-2:30, because we know homeschoolers like to sleep in & have time for 2nd breakfasts!

The deep intention behind our homeschooling sessions is to build community, because as avid homeschoolers ourselves we know community is the core of all being. Our facilitator Bec is the owner of Raw&Unearthed & has been a homeschooling Mama for many years, with 4 children she understands the balance & flow of it all. You can read more about her here & also pick her brain on all things homeschooling during these sessions. Homeschooling support & guidance is a part of our offerings during Raw&Unearthed-UNBOUND.

Each session will be 2 hours of fun filled nature play, with a different intention intertwined, following on the children’s interests, skills, nature based philosophies & theories of play. Our full sized tool kit will also be available to encourage active exploring, investigating & tool mastery skills. You will also gain access to our up & coming online portal with downloadable content, information & links.

These sessions are for families who intend on homeschooling or are already registered homeschoolers. Age recommendation is 3-10years.

Please note, caregivers are required to stay at these sessions as we work towards building strong community & connections. You are welcome to organise another caregiver for your child, if they are attending with friends.

Raw&Unearthed was developed with the intention to promote a space where children can play outdoors in an unhurried unstructured environment. We aim to disconnect people from devices and reconnect them with the natural world & each other. Within this space, children are trusted to be in charge of their own choices, experiment with ideas, self-assess risks, explore & discover, test the full capabilities of their bodies and become in tune with their needs, desires & urges. As educators & caregivers, we develop a fluid role, at times we will be there supporting, guiding and encouraging children…other times we are merely observers, catching glimpses of their world from the outside. Then there are times when we are invited into their play and we too get to run free with the wild bush fairies barefoot across the earth. Knowing when to move in and out of a child’s play can open so much opportunity for their learning and development.

Space, trust and unhurried time are the underpinning core values of Raw&Unearthed and allow the child to build self-confidence and self-awareness- essential life skills.
