Workshop for Early Childhood Educators
$55 per person
Next Date: TBA
Kincumba Mountain Reserve, Central Coast NSW.
How much time do you spend outside in nature with the children in your early childhood setting? Is it something you wish you did more? If it is, come and join the team from Raw & Unearthed in a hands on session to inspire this change and experience the wonders that nature play has to offer.
This is a great introductory workshop if your service is just beginning to explore nature play and is interested in implementing nature play into your curriculum. During this 2.5 hour play based workshop, educators will become inspired and motivated to engage with nature through play as well as open their eyes and minds to the amazing possibilities and benefits of a nature based curriculum. We will provide provocations for play, authentic tools and additional natural resources for the educators to use. During the play session, our team will support and continually motivate educators to unleash their imagination to fully immerse themselves in nature play. This session will end with a reflective circle, a time for educators to ask questions, share experiences and begin to build connections between their own play and the play of the children they work with.
